There may be personality secrets hidden in your voice
Cologne, Germany: German experts say in an interesting research survey that the elasticity, depth, fluctuations and pitch of a human voice can reveal many secrets of its personality.
Scientists at the University of Göttingen, after researching more than 2,000 people, say that your voice may have some personality aspects. For example, people with a low pitched (deep and low) voice can be influential, sociable and even interested in part-time sex. This research can be applied to both men and women at the same time.
According to a report published in the Journal of Research in Personality, thousands of voices from four different countries were sampled and detailed questionnaires were filled out. The software then examined various sound conditions. The questions asked participants about their sexual orientation, daily behavior and shy or fearless personality.
Dr. Julia Stern, head of the research survey, says that when we talk to someone on the phone, we can hear someone's age, sex, and even sadness and happiness. In the same way, we tried to find out whether the voice can reveal other secrets of man. Although our research is in its infancy, it is true that voice can be a treasure trove of personal information.
